Villa Hiona is home to five independent seafront studios set within two beautifully restored 19th-century stone houses overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean. One of the buildings served as the family home, while the other—known as Hiona—played an important role in Halki’s sponge-diving heritage, housing diving equipment and the island’s prized natural sponges before they were shipped throughout the Mediterranean.
Today, these historic buildings combine authentic island character with modern comfort. Each studio accommodates up to two guests, enjoys uninterrupted sea views, and opens onto a spacious shared waterfront terrace where the Aegean becomes part of everyday life. Just a few steps below, the crystal-clear sea invites you for a morning swim, an afternoon escape from the summer sun, or a peaceful evening by the water.

Our two Large Studios, Pelagia and Afroditi, are located in one of the historic stone houses. Each offers approximately 50 m² of living space, together with an additional 15 m² loft bedroom, creating a bright, spacious setting while preserving the character of the original building.
Our three Classic Studios—Okeanis, Thalassa, and Nafsika—are located in the neighboring historic house. Each features an open-plan living area with an additional 12 m² loft bedroom, offering the same waterfront setting and authentic island atmosphere in a more intimate space.
Whether you choose a Large Studio or a Classic Studio, every accommodation enjoys uninterrupted sea views and opens directly onto Villa Hiona’s spacious shared waterfront terrace.
